How to Increase Edit Speed in 15 Minutes

Add this short routine to your warmup to rapidly improve your edits

If you are looking for the best routine to work on edit timing being more consistent this short 15 minute routine is perfect. Start every session off by making sure you properly stretch your wrist and fingers then complete a quick free build on either your own map or the following Raider's Map, the goal here isn't to train anything, rather just to get your fingers and mouse arm warmed up.

Raider’s Mechanics Training V3 (Map Code: 6464-0829-5975):

  • Edit Tower – Hard Difficulty – 3 Minutes

Goal here is to work on your edit timing. Try to start slow, generate a rhythm, and slowly increase your speed as you go.

  • Editing While Moving – 5 Minutes

This scenario naturally moves your character model with a wall set randomly. This is really good to help your edit consistency and crosshair placement, as it forces you to work on different edits at different angles while moving.

  • Free Build on 1.2x Speed – 5 Minutes

The increased movement speed helps with a couple of different elements mechanically. First and foremost, it will help to improve your edit consistency. It will also help you develop your overall speed, and is a great way to finish any warm up.

After completing this warmup addition for 2 weeks I would recommend trying out a more advanced routine from the Solos Masterclass 5.0 Best of luck improving.
